FAQ
prints
-What happens when a print is ‘sold out’?
Once the current inventory is sold out, prints will be vaulted. I’ll be re-releasing vaulted prints at a later, unspecified date. So they’ll be gone for now, but not forever!
Framing
-Do your prints come framed?
The prints do not come framed, but I do have a framing recommendation! (See below)
-Budget friendly framing recommendations?
I have found some awesome accessible Canadian frames for you all through the framing company Opposite Wall. Their frames have been shown in my print wall display photos. I have a discount code with Opposite Wall for framing my prints (woot woot)! Use the code OppositeWallxErinElizabethRoss for 20% off of your frame purchase on their website!
commisions
-Interested in a commission?
The process is super simple & straight forward. First we discuss what you’re looking for, the size/budget you’re hoping to work within & exchange some exploratory emails.
If you decide you want to move forward, I’ll invoice you & collect a 25% deposit (this deposit confirms your piece and secures your spot in the queue).
-What is the wait time?
Depending on current active commissions, the wait time usually fluctuates between 2 months (if theres only a few active commissions) to 10 months.
-How does reference imaging work?
I create a reference image so that you have a general understanding of what I’ll be looking at to inspire your piece. I don’t do “sketches” per se, instead I create a photographic image as reference, and I don’t start the painting until you’ve approved it.
I also always love taking the reigns and just creating without sharing the reference with you - this requires a bit more trust!
-Framing/Canvases
I work with a custom framer to make all of my canvases, so I can accommodate any size- if you had something in mind just let me know and I’ll let you know the cost.
Pricing is based on size.
-After the piece is finished/Shipping , Pick Up & Delivery/ Installation
When the piece is finished, I’ll work with you to arrange shipping/pick up/delivery of the piece, as well as, if you’re interested (and depending on your location), professional installation. I work with a great professional art delivery and installation team in Edmonton, however their services are only currently available in Alberta. I can accommodate shipping anywhere.
